Terms & Conditions

By creating an account, accessing, or using Wention (the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform. If you use Wention on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.

Wention is a community-driven marketplace that helps businesses improve their visibility in AI search by earning authentic brand mentions in listicle-style articles. Members spend creditsto request mentions (“campaigns”) and earn credits by publishing mentions for others on their approved websites. Wention facilitates matching, escrow of credits, and verification; we are not a party to the content arrangements between members beyond what these terms describe.

• The Platform is intended for business use by people aged 18 or older. It is not directed to children.
• You must register with a valid business email address and provide accurate, current information.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account.
• Company workspaces (organizations) share a single credit pool and resource set. Owners and admins may invite, approve, remove, and change the roles of members; actions taken by members bind the organization.
• Notify us promptly at hello@wention.ai of any unauthorized use of your account.

Credits are a prepaid, internal unit of account used to operate on the Platform. Credits are not money, legal tender, or a stored-value instrument, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for cash, withdrawn, or transferred outside the Platform except as expressly provided here.

• Creating a campaign reserves credits from your available balance into escrow for that campaign.
• When a publication passes our automated verification, the reserved credits are consumed, the publisher earns a credit reward, and the platform retains a portion as a service fee.
• If a campaign closes or expires with unfilled slots, the still-reserved credits for those slots are returned to your available balance.
• Publishers earn credits (redeemable for their own campaigns), never cash payouts.
• Credits do not expire while your account remains in good standing. We may adjust, freeze, or reverse credits in cases of fraud, abuse, chargebacks, error, or breach of these terms.

Credits may be purchased in packs at the prices shown at checkout. Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record; your purchase is also subject to their terms. Prices may change, but changes do not affect credits already purchased. You may request a refund within 14 days of your purchase in line with our Refund Policy. Requests may be sent to hello@wention.ai.

Publishers and requesters must ensure that all content and conduct on the Platform:

• Is lawful, accurate, and not misleading, defamatory, deceptive, or fraudulent.
• Does not infringe any third party's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
• Uses only websites you own or are authorized to publish on, and that comply with our approval requirements.
• Does not include spam, malware, hidden or cloaked content, undisclosed paid links where disclosure is required, or attempts to manipulate rankings through prohibited techniques.
• Does not harass, discriminate, or promote illegal goods, services, or activities.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish and for compliance with all laws applicable to it, including advertising, consumer-protection, and disclosure requirements. We may review, reject, remove, or require changes to any content, and may suspend accounts that violate these rules.

You retain ownership of the content and materials you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute that content solely to operate, provide, and improve the Platform and to facilitate the matching and publication process. Publishers grant requesters the benefit of the brand mention as described in the relevant campaign. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant these licenses.

If a requester is dissatisfied with a publication, they may raise a dispute through the Platform. On a dispute, the publisher’s reward is temporarily frozen and an administrator reviews the matter. Outcomes may include upholding the publication and releasing the reward, requesting changes for the publisher to fix and resubmit, or reversing the publication (rejecting it, clawing back the reward, and refunding the requester). Our dispute decisions are made in good faith and are final with respect to Platform credits.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Platform at any time. We may update these terms; when we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular AI-search visibility, ranking, traffic, or business outcome will be achieved. AI systems and third-party websites are outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wention and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform. To the extent we are found liable, our total aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid to us for credits in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Breviant Marketing Services (OPC) Private Limited and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your use of the Platform, or your breach of these terms or of any law or third-party right.

You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these terms, create risk or legal exposure, or engage in fraud or abuse. On termination, unused purchased credits may be forfeited where permitted by law; sections that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to any applicable mandatory law, the courts at the location of our registered office in India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Platform.
